Northumberland Fire and Rescue

The aim of Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service is to reduce deaths and injuries, making Northumberland a safer place to live, work and visit in the process. With its headquarters in Morpeth, the service has eighteen stations around the county in the following locations: Allendale, Alnwick, Amble, Ashington, Belford, Bellingham, Berwick, Blyth, Cramlington, Haltwhistle, Haydon Bridge, Hexham, Morpeth, Ponteland, Prudhoe, Rothbury, Seahouses, and Wooler.

Northumberland’s Fire Service also does an enormous amount of work in the community, offering free home fire safety checks, BTEC awards, youth development courses, and schools engagement, to name just a few. Information on these initiatives can be found elsewhere on this website.
